Elisabetta Citterio

Photographer and author of the STEM passion project, Elisabetta is a molecular biologist and currently an associate professor, passionate about contributing to advances in biomedical sciences. Her research has developed over the last 20 years around the study of DNA repair mechanisms and genome maintenance, crucial factors in fighting cancer. Alongside her scientific research, Elisabetta enjoys exploring the world through photography – a wonderful opportunity for her to connect with people and to learn from others. She is interested in the transformative power of individuals and society.

CLAUDIA CAGLIANO

Italy

Lecturer of Communication and Marketing and co-author of the STEM Passion project, Claudia Cagliano is driven by the passion of contributing to progress and generative transformation of society, with particular attention to issues related to women’s empowerment. She believes in the potentials and effectiveness of a persuasive communication, when directed to social purposes with the aim of changing attitudes and promoting sustainable behaviours and lifestyles. She also supports  the engagement of the younger generations to foster social innovation and shape a more sustainable future for all and our Planet.
